Meet Karol — the nurse behind Daura Luxe

Hi, I'm Karol Ceballos, a Registered Nurse with 11 years of nursing experience and the founder of Daura Luxe Aesthetics in River North, Chicago. I started Daura Luxe because I kept hearing the same thing from women: "I want to look refreshed — I just don't want to look done." That's exactly how I practice. My work is about enhancing what's already yours — softening lines, restoring balance, bringing back your glow — never frozen, never overdone, never someone else's face.

Why "Daura"?

Daura carries the two matriarchs of my family in its name: the D is for my grandmother, Dominga, and Aura was my great-aunt. Both were single mothers, just like me, and they taught me that when you work hard and do everything with love and passion, success follows — and so does something worth even more: the trust and respect of every person you serve. That is the standard behind every treatment at Daura Luxe, and it is in this name.
